Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Washington, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project provides for the design and construction of various improvements to the MD 210 corridor. These include, but are not limited to, geometric and safety improvements including interchange construction, traffic signal modifications, lane widening and/or additions and realignment of existing roadways and pedestrian safety improvements along the MD 210 corridor. Funding is provided through the revenue generated by the MGM resort casino video lottery terminal (VLT) funds; 40% of VLT funds must be designated to the MD 210 corridor per State law. This project is included in the county's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Program. As of April 6, 2023, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
