As of January 23, 2020, this project has been awarded. All trades have been let. The City of Campbell is seeking bids for The Winchester Boulevard Resurfacing Project. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: PCC sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter removal and replacement; tree trimming; root pruning; ADA compliant accessibility ramp and passageway installation; traffic signal modification; removal and replacement of traffic striping, markers, and pavement marking; lowering of existing utilities and other appurtenances; asphalt concrete milling; asphalt concrete digouts; stress absorbing membrane interlayer (SAMI)/rubber chip seal application; rubberized asphalt concrete street resurfacing; adjustment of utility and other appurtenances to finished grade; public notification & outreach; utility coordination; Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) - Bus Route Coordination; and associated traffic control, including temporary signing and striping. Additive alternate bid items of work include: lowering/raising utility company appurtenances to grade. All contractors and subcontractors shall have and maintain a current and valid contractor license of the required classification from the State of California throughout the course of this project. In addition, the bidder/contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" General Engineering Contractor License at the time of bid, except that on a joint venture bid a joint venture license may be obtained by a combination of licenses after bid opening but before award in accordance with California Business and Professions Code Section 7029.1. All contractors and subcontractors working in the City of Campbell must have a valid City of Campbell Business License at the time the Contract is awarded. Business Licenses can be purchased and/or renewed at the Finance Department at 70 N. First Street, Campbell, California. This project is funded by both federal and state funds and is therefore subjected their guidelines as noted in the Special Provisions. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with the federal and state requirements and for completing and submitting all necessary forms required under this contract. Contract Working Days: Total contract time is 180 working days.
