The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Check Sheet LRS-6 "Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" prepared by the Department of Transportation. Pre-qualification required in accordance with Check Sheet LRS-6 "Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals". The work on this section, located on TR 62B (Fogel Rd) approximately 2.0 miles northeast of Mahomet, Illinois in Mahomet Township consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, and material necessary to replace the existing two-span bridge over a stream with a three-span reinforced concrete slab bridge on pile bent spill-thru abutments and solid wall encased pile bent piers, pavement reconstruction with pavement removal, aggregate base course, HMA binder and surface course, construction of HMA shoulders, installing guardrail, all earth excavation, embankment, seeding, erosion control, and all other appurtenant and collateral work as shown in the plans and as required by these special provisions.
