Failure to submit a Bid through HRSD's electronically prior to the due date and time will be cause for rejection by HRSD. Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Contractor registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. The Project or Work consists of construction of a pressure reducing station to convey raw, untreated sewage. Specific work includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to install pumps, pipes and valves, metal building, electrical and control systems, site improvements and all other work as detailed in the contract documents. Attending the conference shall not be mandatory for those submitting a Bid. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid.
