LPS Oakland R&D Modernization & Replacement project, scheduled to start construction in June of 2023 and complete by the end of August 2024. The project scopes of work include the following; Selective soft and hard demolition, soils stabilization by drilled aggregate piers, earthwork, underground utilities. Structural concrete, structural steel, metal decking, wood framing, insulation, single-ply roofing, metal flashing, trims, joint sealants, HM doors and frames, wood doors, aluminum store-front, glazing and entry doors, gyp-board/drywall, acoustical ceilings, floor finishes, casework, counter-tops, window coverings, marker-boards and tack panels, painting, HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical, lighting, and LV systems. Cement plaster/stucco system, fiber cement siding system, and an ACM (aluminum composite metal) panel canopy. This is a public works school project requiring DSA oversite, prevailing wages, and it is subject to the Skilled and Trained Work Force Requirements for State Public Works projects. We are actively seeking local and small local resident business trade partners interested in bidding the project to achieve a goal of 25% L/SL/SLRBE participation.
