Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Spencer, Oklahoma. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of January 5, 2023, this project is conceptual. A design team has not been identified and a construction timeline has not been established. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. For the purpose of transforming our parks across the city, it is the intent of the Council to allocate $63 million to upgrade every municipal neighborhood and community park outside of the central business district. Such improvements shall be based on need and neighborhood feedback that comes from neighborhood meetings. Such improvements could include but are not necessarily limited to bathrooms, playground equipment, shade structures, splashpads, furnishings, trees, paths, activity facilities, and signage that could include but is not limited to signage that provides information on the historical significance of the park’s name.
