We anticipate contract award within the next couple of weeks The Town of Queen Creek is soliciting Bids from qualified contractors to provide widening of Chandler Heights Road from an existing 2-lane section (1 lane in each direction) to a 5-lane section (2 lanes in each direction plus a two-way left turn lane). In addition to adding vehicle lanes, the improvements includes the addition of bike lanes, curb and gutter, trench and conduit for SRP undergrounding, street lighting, landscaping, and irrigation improvements. The project corridor will be fitted with a 6' wide sidewalk, typically detached, on both sides of the road and an adjacent 10' Multi-Use Path on the north side. Drainage facility modifications along the corridor include the addition of catch basins, scuppers, and the use of an underground retention storage system. A roadside ditch along the south side of the roadway prism is proposed. Bids must include all information items listed in the Information for Bids (IFB). Any Bid received after the time specified will be returned unopened. (No electronic submittals or amendments will be accepted).
