Site work for a water / sewer project in Queen Creek, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The Town of Queen Creek is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the installation of a 16-inch C909 PVC waterline and dual 3-inch Schedule 90 PVC conduits in a joint trench. The work is located within the San Tan Valley area of Pinal County and includes two distinct project segments: Phase 2A (Project WA265) from Home Place to the Main Plant, and Phase 3B (Project WA264) from South of Pima Road to Germann Road. Each bid must be in accordance with specifications and instructions provided. Bids must be submitted through the Town's e-Procurement Portal, and any bids received after the prescribed deadline or not submitted in the designated manner will not be accepted. No emailed, faxed, mailed, or hand-delivered bids will be accepted. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses and to waive informalities. The work includes all indicated and otherwise necessary removals, replacements, reconstruction, protection of existing features and incidentals necessary to completethework. The waterline improvements will tie into existing improvements recently constructedbyothers. The extent of the work to be performed and delivered is indicated within the project constructiondocuments. Any limits of the work described in the title of these Special Provisions, other locationswithin this document or the Technical Specifications are to be considered general in natureandapproximate for descriptive use purposes only. Limits of the work are to connect the existing pipelinefacilities noted in the plans. The project is designed to fit within limited construction work zones that are narrowin width. TheContractor shall use appropriately sized equipment to performed the proposed work inordertoprevent damage to adjacent existing publicly and privately owned improvements including, but notlimited to, roadway pavements, curbs, signs, warning devices and delineators; irrigationditches, pipelines, operating gates and delivery and control structures; drainage culverts and headwalls;driveways; fences; mailboxes; driveway entry decorative and aesthetic features and landscapingmaterials; utility poles, overhead cables and support anchors; underground utility conduits, associatedabove or underground equipment, riser pedestals, pull boxes, cabinets, buried cables, andotherfeatures and appurtenances existing along the proposed waterline route and work zone. The plans call for specific construction approaches and techniques to minimize conflicts with existing facilitiesofothers and are intended to simplify the construction effort. All adjacent features and appurtenancesnoted above that are not in the work zone and are not noted to be removed, salvaged and/or replacedshall be protected in place or salvaged, removed and replaced in a condition acceptable to the ownerofsuch features and appurtenances at no additional cost to the project. Schnepf Road was recently repaved by Pinal County and any damage to the pavement adjacent tothework zone will be the Contractor's responsibility to repair using a method and extent acceptabletoPinal County. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for the cost of any pavement repairsasdesignated by Pinal County URV2507-025
