Work shall be performed as directed by the Engineer and may or may not be on a continual basis. Except for emergency conditions, it is unlikely that work will be scheduled for the months of November through March. At certain times, the Administration may request work to be completed at locations in Prince George's County. The Contractor has the option to accept or decline such requests. The work will consist of the following: Fine Milling; Full Depth and Partial Depth Patching; Resurfacing. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. Special attention is directed to GP-5.06, Cooperation Between Contractors A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids. Bids must only be made upon latest the electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.
