The City of Shoreacres is proposing to decommission the existing 13,000 gallon steel elevated storage tank and replace with a 5,000 gallon hydro-pneumatic tank and 200 kW stationary natural gas generator. The work includes structural rehabilitation of the four (4) base plates including welding, cleaning and painting of the base plates, removal of the existing ladder and piping, and cleaning and painting of the entire steel elevated tank for the repurposing as an antenna tower. This project is eligible for TWDB funding, therefore, the following requirements apply: - The bidder must include the Vendor Compliance with Reciprocity on Non-Resident Bidders form (TWDB-0459) with their bid. - Bidder must be able to provide payment and performance bonds. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). - Any contract(s) awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are subject to the United States Iron and Steel (US I&S) requirements of Texas Water Code 17.183 and/or Texas Government Code, Chapter 2252, Subchapter F, as amended by SB 1289, 85th Legislative Session, as applicable.
