Site work and paving for a civil project in La Porte, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project includes two utility crossings under State Highway 146 (TxDOT ROW), removal/abandonment of the existing utilities, site restoration, and traffic control on the SH146 Frontage Roads. The first crossing is 395 LF of 12" PVC water line in 20" steel casing approximately 15' deep under SH146 at Wharton Weems Blvd. The second crossing is 435 LF of 10" HDPE force main in 20" steel casing approximately 10' deep under SH146 north of Shoreacres Blvd. The existing water line and force main are to be removed and the existing steel casing is to be removed in some locations and abandoned in place in other locations. Traffic control is of the utmost importance for this project, and any traffic control used will need to be approved by TxDOT. Estimate: $600,000 - $625,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
