* * As of 01/31/2019 The project hasn't been awarded yet. A timeline for award is not yet established. The Houston Community College, ("HCC") or ("College") is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified firms to provide West South Loop Roofing Retrofit in accordance with the plans and specifications referenced herein. The project is located at HCC's Southwest Campus, 5505 West Loop South, Houston, TX 77081, (Former Conn's Building). The scope of work covers the requirements for the contractor to provide roofing retrofit as outlined in the drawings, plans and specifications. Engineers Estimated Budget: $600,00 to $700,000 Deadline to receive written question/inquiries Monday, January 13, 2020 by 2:00 pm Responses to written questions/inquiries (estimated) Thursday, January 16, 2020 Small Business Subcontracting Plan Submittal January 24, 2020 by 2:00 pm (local time) Anticipated Board Recommendation and Approval March/April, 2020 Firms planning to attend the pre-proposal Conference should notify Art Lopez by email Arturo.lopez@hccs.edu, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2019 of the names, titles, and phone numbers of the individuals who will attend The award resulting from this solicitation, if any, will be a one (1) time purchase as required for the term of the project in accordance with the project schedule. The successful Contractor(s) shall be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the total amount (100%) of the Contract, if the award is in excess of $25,000.00, only the Payment Bond will only be required. If award is in access of $100,000.00, both Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall be in the same form as that distributed by HCC, and attached hereto, all duly executed by bidder (as "Principal") and by an incorporated surety company licensed to do business in the State of Texas. If the amount of the bond is greater than $100,000.00 the surety must hold a certificate of authority from the United States Secretary of the Treasury The Work of this Contract will be performed in the facility as shown on Drawings. Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, tools, supplies, permits, equipment, transportation, superintendence, barricades, temporary protection, bracing, shoring, temporary construction of every nature, insurance, taxes, contributions and all services and facilities, unless specifically excepted, and install all materials, items, and equipment required to complete the construction of the Project, as set forth in the Contract Documents. Refer to Section "Task Items" for a description of work. Task Item specifications, details, and drawings shall govern all repair operations. Locations where Task Items apply are shown on Drawings as symbols. Final Payment shall be made on basis of actual approved Work performed as measured in place.
