Site work and renovation of a parking garage in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
Project Location: 100 Beaver Street, Albany, New York. Albany County is requesting sealed bids for the Remediation and Repairs of the Times Union Center Parking Garage. - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required The Work for Phase 1 of the Project consists of full rehabilitation (structural repair and waterproofing) of the 6th/Roof level of the parking garage with selected piecemeal structural, waterproofing and striping repairs at the lower levels. The work for Phase 1 is as defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization 2. Full depth tee flange reconstruction at selected locations at ends of ramps. 3. Full depth patch repairs at tee flanges and partial depth repair of pour strips along inverted tee girders. 4. General partial depth patch repairs at spalled, delaminated and debonded sections of floor slabs and pour strips. 5. Patch repairs at corroded shear connectors including allowances for re-welding broken connectors uncovered during repairs. 6. Remove existing rebar stitches at roof level and patch with new repair mortar. 7. Overhead patch repairs at Tee Flange Soffits. 8. Overhead patch repairs at Tee Stems. 9. Overhead patch repairs at Girders. 10. Overhead patch repairs at Column Corbels. 11. Vertical patch repairs at walls, columns, etc. 12. Slab scaling repairs. 13. Deep patch repairs at stair tower walls, including permanent steel connections. 14. Provide new supplemental structural steel connections including: a. New lateral connections between HSS columns and the floor slabs, East elevation all levels b. New surface-mounted supplemental steel tee-to-tee shear connectors c. New surface-mounted supplemental tee-to-girders connections d. New structural steel panel to column connections 15. Metal Pan Stair Repairs at all stairs all floors including: a. Replacement of heavily corroded metal pan treads & riders b. Replacement of heavily corroded landing pans c. Replacement of heavily corroded beams d. Replacement of heavily corroded angle supports e. Sealing perimeter of all stair treads and landing with caulking 16. Rout and seal selected floor slab cracks. 17. Replacement of slab joint sealants including the entire Roof Level and selected sealants at Lower Levels. 18. Apply new, traffic bearing waterproofing membrane over the entire roof level floor slab; reinforced at tee joints. Restripe slab. 19. Grind, Patch and Seal selected "wide" tee-girder joints at roof level with new preformed joint seals. 20. Clean and paint selected, corroded section of metal elements such as cable barriers, steel connections, etc. 21. Provide new preformed joint seals between floor slab and Stair/Elevator Tower "A", all levels. 22. Replace/Re-tension loose and broken vehicle barrier cables including replacement of selected damaged intermediate eye bolt supports same as existing. 23. Replace selected sections of roof level chain link fence, including new gates at locations of existing. 24. Replace existing fence with new chain link and architectural mesh fence on the second level West elevation, near CL 1A. 25. Repair damaged CMU & window curtain wall at stair tower at the roof level. 26. Remove and replace existing striping with new striping layout at the turning bays and ADA spaces all levels. Replace ADA Signage. 27. Remove all car stops in the garage. 28. Provide supplemental floor drains at selected locations. Pipe and connect to nearest storm stack. 29. Remove and replace selected corroded piping. 30. Other miscellaneous work
