Project no: 1-0254, 18174 BMLA PROJECT NO:10010218 TRACT No- 16678--1, -2, -3 & 16678 Exterior improvements at South Fontana Park located at 16647 Santa Ana Avenue, Fontana, CA 92335. The project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a kit restroom/concession building, two small kit storage buildings, three trash enclosures, two monument walls, six fabric shade structures, universally accessible playground, concrete paving, CMU walls, Tube steel fencing, decorative sports themed bollards, electrical fixtures, conduit and wiring, landscape planting and irrigation, storm drainage systems, drinking fountains, misters, water lines and appurtenances, sewer lines and appurtenances, and storm drain lines and appurtenances, fire line and appurtenances, sub-base and drainage for four artificial turf sports fields (The installation of the artificial turf for the fields has been secured through the CMAS process and will not be included in this scope of work), irrigation and lighting for sports fields, picnic areas with tables and benches, asphalt parking lot, parking lot striping. The contractor shall furnish and install the above stated work in accordance with the plan details and specifications attached Proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of cash, cashier's check, a certified check or bid bond available to the CITY in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid. Any proposal not accompanied by such a guarantee will not be considered. A payment bond and a performance bond, each in an amount equal to 100 % of the total contract amount, shall be required concurrently with the execution of the contract and shall be in the form set forth in the contract documents TIME OF COMPLETION: 254 WORKING DAYS The contractor shall be prepared to begin construction during the month of January 2022. The City's Project Manager will provide a list(s) of expected submittals for the project. The Contractor shall provide said submittals within thirty (30) Calendar Days following contract award or receipt of said list, whichever occurs later. Failure of the Contractor to provide submittals within the time specified above may provide grounds for termination of the Contract for default, in accordance with Section 6-7 of the Greenbook.
