Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
To plan, design, right-of-way acquisition and construct roadway extension project on of Paseo del Sol within the Tierra Contenta Master Planned development. The roadway will include 2 travel lanes, bicycle lanes, sidewalks, lighting and landscaping. The proposed development will be managed by the Tierra Contenta Corporation. The project is expected to leverage additional funding from CDBG or other housing subsidies, public and/or bond financing (TID, TIFF, etc.) and private capital to match legislative funding. Additionally, City Finance staff is investigating the use of a Tax Increment Financing District or Improvement District. The commitment of legislative funds is expected to spur investment from the private sector. This project is currently in the City of Santa's FY 2021-2025 CIP. Per the owner, as of December 29, 2021, a developer has been selected and the developer will manager the design and construction of this project. The city if providing funding toward the design for this project. The owner states that design is anticipated to take about six months. The owner states that a general contractor has not been selected. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
