Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fairfax, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
**As of September 25, 2020, due to present COVID pandemic, Fairfax County is foregoing bidding for this project.** Fairfax County is soliciting pre-bid qualifications for the construction of Little River Glen Elevator Replacement at 4003, 4005, 4007, 4009 Barker Court, Fairfax, VA 22032. Only firms that have been pre-qualified in accordance with the procedures in the Pre-qualification Application will be eligible to submit bids for this project. Bids received from those who have not been pre-qualified will not be considered. Construction bids for this project are currently scheduled to be opened in May 2020. The scope of work consists of removing and replacing four (4) existing Limited Use/Limited Application (LULA) elevators located in four separate buildings with new commercial grade 3500-lb capacity elevators with associated elevator machine rooms. The work also includes limited interior demolition including, partitions and other features located in restrooms and trash rooms with renovation to follow, including construction of fully accessible restrooms and new trash rooms. This project also includes laundry rooms alteration and minor renovation to existing common kitchens in the first floor of each building.
