New construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of March 4th, 2020 the miscellaneous metals bid has been postponed. The own has not released a date yet for when those bids will be due. Project Description: The project scope generally consists of constructing a new Triple A professional baseball ballpark with an approximate capacity of ten thousand (10,000) to serve as the home ballpark of the baseball franchise operated by the Pawtucket Red Sox Baseball Club, LLC and the City of Worcester. The new building/structure is composed of multiple bid packages, including early packages to initiate site work, foundations, and structural steel in advance of the architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and related work of the ballpark. The project will be subject to the minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws. The total estimated cost of the Project is approximately $74,400,000 and the construction duration is approximately fifteen (15) months.
