Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Windsor, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.

The Work of this Contract consists of the intersection improvements at State Highway 392 and Colorado Boulevard (CR 13), which includes but not limited to, pedestrian island construction, traffic and pedestrian signal pole installation, roadway widening and paving, and striping and the construction of a new trail along Colorado Boulevard and a pedestrian bridge across the Poudre River, as indicated in the drawings and specified herein. Bids shall be a combination of lump sum and unit prices per the Bid Form. Any questions regarding the project are due Firday, December 5, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., local time. No questions received after this date will be answered, unless the bid date is extended by an addendum. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a an acceptable Bid security in the form of a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising out of the Work. No Bid may be withdrawn for the period of time after the date Bids are opened which is specified in the Bid Form. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The decision of the Owner shall be final. All work associated with this project shall be completed by September 3, 2021. Liquidated damages will commence on September 7, 2021, unless an extension is granted.
