Site work and paving for a road / highway in Park Ridge, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Park Ridge will accept sealed bids to construct two alleys within the City to participate in a Green Alley Demonstration Project. The two selected alleys are each approximately 670 feet in length for a total of 1340 feet. The permeable pavement portion of the alleys will be 8 feet wide located in the center of the alley and will consist of 18" of CA 1 Bedding, 4" of CA 7 Base Course, 2" of CA-16 and permeable pavers. The permeable paver section will be bordered by 4 foot wide concrete pavement. Average width of the alleys is 16 feet. Due to impervious clay throughout most of the City, alleys will require a perforated discharge pipe to the local combined sewer system. Also included is reconstruction of garage aprons, sewer work, tree removal and all associated work.
