The Project consists of: 1. The installation of 7259 linear feet of 12" diameter C-900 DR 18 PC 235 PVC water main with associated fire hydrants, gate valves and other fittings. 2. The installation of 80 linear feet of 8" diameter C-900 DR 18 PC 235 PVC water main with associated fire hydrants, gate valves and other fittings. 3. The installation of 140 linear feet of 6" diameter C-900 DR 18 PC 235 PVC water main with associated fire hydrants, gate valves and other fittings. 4. The reconnection of existing water services and connecting water mains. 5. The repair of existing HMAC pavement, existing driveway approaches, concrete curb and gutter. 6. The installation of a new pump station including 30,000-gallon ground storage tank, pump building, pumps, generator, chemical handling facility and other related items. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, oraBid bond. Successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds and proof of insurance, complying with the General Conditions of the Agreement. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the Bid opening.
