Site work for a water / sewer project in Grapevine, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified), and performing all work necessary for the construction of 3,850 LF of 8" C-900 fusible PVC by pipe bursting, open cut, and other than open cut, 9 fire hydrants, 38 water services, and other associated items along Kings Drive, Alexander Drive and connecting side streets. January 10, 2023, at 12:00 pm will be the deadline for receipt of bidder questions. After that day and time, no bidder questions will be accepted or answered by the Engineer or Town. All questions must be submitted in writing to Sabrina Zadow via email address purchasing@flower-mound.com. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Purchasing Manager upon the blank form of the bid form furnished, and shall be marked on the outside of the envelope with the following information: (a) the submitting firm's name and (b) "BID # 2023-25-B - ROYAL OAKS WATER LINE REPLACEMENT PHASE I - DO NOT OPEN UNTIL JANUARY 18, 2023." A Bid Bond in the form of a cashier's check, a certified check, or an acceptable bidder's bond made payable without conditions to the "Town of Flower Mound, Texas" in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as are required and provide evidence of all required insurance coverage. All bidders' security will be retained until a contract has been awarded and executed. The Town reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgment is the lowest responsible bid; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid received, deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in one or more prices listed in the bid proposal, the Town reserves the right to accept the most advantageous construction of the proposed price(s) to the Town or to reject the bid. No officer or employee of the Town shall have a financial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract with the Town of Flower Mound. No bid may be withdrawn, cancelled or rescinded within one hundred twenty (120) days after the Closing Time without prior written approval of the Purchasing Manager. The date/time stamp located in the Town of Flower Mound Purchasing Office serves as the official time clock. The Town of Flower Mound cannot and does not guarantee that any proposals sent to the Town via United States Postal Service, Federal Express, United Parcel Services or any other similar delivery service will be delivered to the Purchasing Office prior to the Closing time. It is recommended that bid deliveries be made either in person or via an alternate delivery method ensuring delivery to the Purchasing Office. Bidder bears full responsibility for ensuring the bid is delivered to the specified location by the Closing Time. The mere fact that a bid was dispatched will not be considered. Submissions received in the Purchasing Office after the Closing Time shall be returned unopened. Engineer's Estimate = $1,100,000.00
