Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**The project was awarded to C. Naughton Corp. for $145,407.65.** The Work of this Contract generally consists of furnishing and installing approximately 400 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch HDPE water main and approximately 200 LF of 8-inch ductile iron water main along Roy Avenue in the City of Attleboro Massachusetts. The replacement includes service connections, valves, fittings, hydrants, and associated appurtenances. The 8-inch HDPE water main at the Sevenmile River Crossing shall be installed utilizing directional drilling methods. Where removed, the existing cast iron water main must be properly disposed of off-site. All locations shall be restored to equal or better condition including pavement, sidewalk and curbing restoration, and loam and seed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount and in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, Sections 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project.
