As of October 23, 2023, project was awarded to S.J. Louis Construction, awarded amount is $71,266,760.15. The City of Amarillo is soliciting bids for the North East Sanitary Sewer Interceptor project which shall consist of the installation of approximately 13 miles of proposed sanitary sewer pipe and the abandonment of an Imhoff tank and a lift station, all located in the northeast basin of the City per the bid specifications. The estimated budget for the project is $52,216,330.00 Deadline for Questions August 28, 2023 Deadline for Response to Questions August 31, 2023 For all contracts above $50,000.00, bidders must submit cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the Owner or an original bid bond from a surety company that is licensed and active in the State of Texas, to act as surety, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Amarillo, Texas in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bidder's total bid submitted For all contracts in excess of $50,000.00, the bidder must furnish a Payment Bond. For all contracts in excess of $100,000.00, the bidder must furnish a Performance Bond. Each bond must be in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the total contract *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
