Said bids shall conform to and be responsive to the Specifications and Contract Documents for said work as heretofore approved by the District. Engineers Estimated Cost: $150,000 to $175,000 Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required License Type Required: C-27 Each bid must be on the District bid form and shall be sealed and filed with the secretary of the District at or before the time stated in the Notice. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project submitted on or after March 1, 2015 unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project awarded on or after April 1, 2015 unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Effective January 1, 2016, no Contractor or Subcontractor may perform on a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. All terms and conditions contained in the Specifications and Contract Documents shall become part of the contract. The Board of Directors of Las Virgenes Municipal Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in any bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the said time for bid openings until 60-days thereafter or until the District has made a final award to the successful bidder or has rejected all bids, whichever event first occurs.
