Award amount is $8,268,184.38.** The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for Central Landfill Cell 4A Construction. This project will include the demolition of existing structures within the Cell 4A construction area, placement of 75,000 cubic yards of structural fill, installation of Cell 4A liner system over 10.6 acres, placement of protective cover over liner system, relocation of a pump station, purchase and installation of leachate pump systems, retrofit of existing Cell 2 and 3 leachate system, electrical power supply to pumps, and construction of storm water system. Ancillary activities includes placement of temporary soil erosion and pollution control, construction quality control, dewatering for pump station, and coordination of power supply. 1049868 Base Bid will be to utilize off-site soil for structural fill and protective cover. Alternate Bid items use on-site structural fill and protective cover. The project is located at 140 County Landfill Road, Palatka, Putnam County, Florida.
