The City of Lancaster does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability in employment or the provision of services. Bidders are advised that, as required by federal law, the State has established a statewide overall DBE goal. This City Federal-aid contract is considered to be part of the statewide overall DBE goal. The City is required to report to Caltrans on DBE participation for all Federal-aid contracts each year so that attainment efforts may be evaluated. To provide assistance in meeting the statewide goal, the City may include a DBE Availability Advisory in this contract. Bidders need to achieve the percentage stated in any DBE Availability Advisory as a condition of Award. This project has a DBE contract goal of 17.0%
