As of June 6, 2022, this project has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Webster Groves, Missouri, seeks redevelopment proposals for the area generally bounded by North Rock Hill Road on the west, West Kirkham Avenue on the north, Gore Avenue on the east and West Pacific Avenue on the south (the Area). The City's primary objectives are to remediate conditions that could lead to the area becoming blighted, remove conditions that constitute an economic or social liability to the City, promote new development, and enhance stability in the area. To facilitate the redevelopment of the area, the City will consider the use of redevelopment incentives. Any proposal must demonstrate that but for the use of the proposed incentives, the project is not feasible and will not be completed. Interested parties must submit five copies of the redevelopment proposal to the City. The proposal shall, at a minimum, contain the party's name, address and contact information, a conceptual site plan of the proposed redevelopment, a description of the parcels of property the developer intends to develop, a description of the uses to be adopted in the developers project, a general description of the public incentives likely to be requested for the project, information concerning the financial feasibility of the project, and estimates of all sales and property taxes to be generated from the project upon its completion. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, all alternative bids and proposals will be considered.
