PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District of the US Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W912P520R0004, for a firm-fixed price construction contract to construct the Downstream Monoliths for the Kentucky Lock, Grand Rivers, KY. No solicitation document exists at this time. The scope of work will be attached with the solicitation announcement. The solicitation is expected to be released on or around 20 April 2021. The intended start date for this project is approximately thirty (30) days after contract award. Pre-Proposal Site Visit A Pre-Bid Video Conference Presentation and an organized Site Visit has been tentatively scheduled during this solicitation period. Offerors should inspect the job site prior to submitting a proposal. Offerors should take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or the cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve Offerors from the responsibility for properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work.
