As of July 18, 2024, per owner a design team has been identified. Currently in the permitting review stage. The City of Ashland, Kentucky is requesting statements of qualifications of qualified engineering firms to provide Final Design, Bidding and Construction Related services for: Water Resources Recovery Facility Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion and Improvements The city has completed a Preliminary Engineering phase which developed a product as a Basis Of Design Report for the planned Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion and Improvements. The Basis Of Design Report will be used by the selected engineering firm for development of the final design, bidding and construction documents required to undertake the necessary expansion and improvements. The selected engineering firm is anticipated provide services to assist the city with final design and permitting of the project, bidding of the project and to assist the city with technical oversight and observation during construction of the project. Funding sources for the project may include but are not limited to Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, Clean Water State Revolving Fund, American Rescue Plan Act, Infrastructure Investment And Jobs Act and local funds. The City of Ashland reserves the right to reject any and all submittals, to waive any technicalities, and to negotiate with the respondent that best meets the projects requirements.
