Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Sumter, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
**As of April 29, 2020, estimated construction start is in 60 days.** For Additions and Renovations to: Sumter County Recreation and Parks Department. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five (5%) of the base bid. A surety or performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price is required. Certificates of Insurance will be required of the low bidder for the coverage listed in the Specifications. No bidder may withdraw his bid or bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of bid opening. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Architect. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the process and to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if deemed in the best interest of the project.
