Site work for a municipal facility in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The work broadly includes earthworks for final cover construction, soil excavation, and remedial activities at the "Recent Landfill site" formerly operated by Sunchild First Nation. The waste onsite to be capped is identified as domestic waste. The work essentially includes civil work, primarily preparing subgrade, sorting and burial of onsite waste, construction of the final cover, revegetation of the final surface, installation of perimeter fencing, excavation and hauling of contaminated soil, and hauling of recyclable metals. Part of the work will require engaging SFN community as identified in the scope of work. Bid value not disclosed.
