Construction of Six (6) Raingardens on Five (5) Sites. Olivet, Bloomington, MN Non-Profit Sites BMP Retrofits in Edina and Bloomington, Minnesota The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, skills, and performing all operations required to construct the Work. The Work includes: 1. Mobilize and demobilize labor, equipment, materials, and temporary facilities. 2. Perform any required site preparation including clearing and grubbing, including removal and proper disposal of all materials from the Site. 3. Furnish, install, and maintain erosion control features. 4. Perform traffic control (drivers and pedestrians) within and around active construction areas. 5. Locate and protect all existing underground utilities. 6. Remove and dispose of bituminous pavement, concrete sidewalk, and concrete curb and gutter. 7. Excavate rain gardens, dispose of soils and vegetation. 8. Loosen existing soil and construct rain garden subsurface with perforated drain pipe and connections to existing City owned stormwater catch basins. 9. Contour and grade rain garden soil. 10. Furnish and install sump catch basin, storm sewer piping, curb cuts, splash block assemblies, edging, and sod. 11. Install new curb and gutter and concrete sidewalk. 12. Furnish and install plants. 13. Install shredded hardwood mulch 14. Remove and properly dispose of all temporary sediment control features after site is stabilized. 15. Demobilize all remaining materials and equipment from the site. Contract will commence to run on_May 1, 2020, Substantial Completion and Final Completion and ready for final payment are October 31, 2020 and September 30, 2021. respectively
