Shortlist confirmed The Sycamore Community Schools Board of Education is requesting statements of qualifications pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 9.33, et seq., from firms to provide construction manager at risk services for Sycamore High School and Symmes Elementary School Renovation Project. This Project is anticipated to begin with an initial planning phase that will define the Scope of Work within the Owner's budget. The team will plan the overall site, and design and implement the Project. The Project is anticipated to include the renovation of Sycamore High School, and the renovation and expansion of Symmes Elementary School. The Project includes renovations of classrooms, constructing collaborative and flexible learning areas, and improvements to security, technology, and circulation. B. The Owner's estimated total budget for the project (including all construction costs, design fees, and construction manager at risk fees) is $46.5 million. C. Construction is anticipated to last approximately 24 months, with an anticipated Date of Substantial Completion of August 2022 at Symmes and 48 months, with an anticipated Date of Substantial Completion of August 2024 at Sycamore High School (majority of work to be completed during summer months).
