For Intersection Improvement Project Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all personsinterested therein. It isthe intent and requirement ofthe Owner that this project be constructed and substantially complete by Friday, June 2, 2023, with Phase 3 being substantially complete by Friday, December 16, 2022. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must comply with the prevailing wage rates established by the Davis Bacon Wage Determinations of the U.S. Department of Labor, with all EEO requirementsin the payment of prevailing federal minimum wages and with the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standard Act regarding compensation for overtime and safe working conditions. This project is subject to a 8.0% DBE participation goal (subcontracts: Materials and Supplies). DOMESTIC STEEL AND IRON USE REQUIREMENTS PER 23 CFR 635.410 APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. All Contractors submitting bids must be ODOT-pre-qualified and prequalification status must be in force at the time of bidding, the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract.
