Demolition, site work and new construction of a library in Gatineau, Quebec. Completed plans call for the construction of a 58,850-square-foot, three-story above grade library; for the demolition of a library; for site work for a library; and library.
Reference number : 1681886 Construction of a new library in the Aylmer sector of Gatineau after demolition of the existing structure on the site. The new library will be located at 115 Principale Street. The building will also house the service center for the Aylmer sector of the City of Gatineau on the third floor, as well as other administrative offices. The project will combine several measures to offer users an eco-responsible building, in particular with obtaining LEEDv4 New Construction Silver certification. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded a General Contractor for the project implementation following public tender GAT 2022 SP 339.
