Multiple Passenger Loading Bridges at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport have reached the end of their service lives and require removal and replacement. The electrical work includes, but not limited to, pro-vidin.g all labor, materials, equip-ment, tools and incidentals to perform, complete, and finish elec-trical systems associated with installations of raceways, wir-ing, boxes, transformers, 480W\.0 disconnect switches, raceways, cabling and accessories for 400hz systems, PLB controls wiring, miscellaneous electrical devices, temporary power and lighting asseinblies, and equipment, test-ing, and grounding in accordance with all requirements of the code-enforcing agencies.The contract will be award-ed for an estimated, amount not to exceed $750,000.00, which includes Washington State Sales Tax. The Contractor shall furnish. all labor, tools, equipment., mate-rials and incidentals necessary to perform the work as requested by the Pori of Seattle via a Work Authorization. All Contractor labor shall be provided as defined by the labor classifications per the Schedule of Unit. Prices listed in Document 00 41 00 --- Bid Form. The contract will last. one (2) years, 730 calendar days, from the official contract award date, which is the date the Pori: of Seattle signs the .Agreement, or until the contract amount is depleted, which ever comes first. This contract contains an option to extend the contract time up to 1 year beyond the original contract completion date. Performance and Payment; bonds will be required with the Contract. Each bond shall be in the full amount of the contract; sum. Each bid must; be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Port of Seattle, The Port reserves the right, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and .to make such. award that it deems to be in its best interest and pursuant to the terms of the General Conditions. Contract time extends from Award of the contract through Contract Completion as defined in the General Conditions.
