Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 94,450-square-foot, two-story above grade fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
Replacement of Winskill Aquatic and Fitness Centre (Winskill) at 5575 9 Ave, Delta, BC with a larger upgraded facility. The current Winskill has reached the end of its useful life, and will not meet future community needs. The new Winskill will be approximately 6,000 m2 and be located in Winskill Park. The location within the Park of the Winskill will be determined early in the design. The new facility will contain the following 1.) Gymnasium 2.) Separate 25 metre Swimming 8 -10 lane pool, leisure pool, and teach pool 3.) Accessible Hot Tub, Sauna and Steam Room 4.) Enhanced fitness areas and weight room 5.) Multipurpose Spaces 6.) Area for Boys and Girls Club (to match the current size of their leased space on the bottom floor of the Annex) 7.) Enhanced parking
