The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) on behalf of the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System (Owner) and Texas A&M University are soliciting statements of qualifications for selection of a Design-Build (DB) firm for the Joint Library Facility Module 3, project #02-3304 ("Project"), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in the Request for Qualifications. The Project, located on the RELLIS Campus in Bryan, Texas, will provide construction of a 12,200 sq. ft. Module III addition to the existing structure, a 1,800 sq ft mechanical mezzanine, and 2,000 linear feet of thermal utilities. The planning amount for the project is $7,500,000 and the AACC is $6,155,000. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step of a two-step selection process for selecting a DesignBuild firm. The RFQ provides the information necessary to prepare and submit Qualifications for consideration by the Owner. The Owner may select up to five (5) of the top ranked qualification respondents to respond to a Request for Proposals. In the second step of the process, the selected Qualifications respondents will be required to submit additional information to the Owner through a Request for Proposal. The second step may also include an interview. The Owner will rank the respondents in the order that they provide the "best value" for the Owner based on all information received.
