Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Maynooth, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 7,200-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The municipality requires a new central sand and salt storage dome to support winter roads maintenance and service to Maynooth and the surrounding area in Hastings Highlands. It is to be in an open clearing behind the central area of the village of Maynooth. The site is accessed through ANAF Road and Young Street. The Salt Shed is to be an arch style, spanned over poured concrete walls. The anticipated size of the salt shed will be 60 x 120 ft but must accommodate 5,000 tonnes minimum of sand/salt storage. *Tender cancelled.
