Location: Section 18, Township 86 North, Range 20 West, Hardin County, Iowa Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, tile installation, CMP water control structure, and seeding. This project includes around 4,800 cubic yards of earthwork, 4,452 linear feet of dual wall corrugated polyethylene pipe installation, 1,903 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe installation, 650 tons of riprap, and 36 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $350,000 to $400,000. In order to be included on the plan holders list, which is required to be able to receive meeting minutes, addenda and an updated plan holders list, interested parties must make a written or verbal request to the Division by telephone: 515-281-4246, or by email: mary.baker@iowaagriculture.gov. Bidders who attend and sign-in to the pre-bid conference will be added to the plan holders list. Plans and Construction Specifications can be viewed at the Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District. Printed copies of specifications and plans will be provided to the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
