Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheet pile weir construction, tile installation, CMP water control structure, and seeding. This project includes around 14,613 cubic yards of earthwork, 1,503 square feet of sheet pile, 1,163 linear feet of tile installation, 680 tons of riprap, 90 cubic yards of grout, and 4 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $170,000 to $210,000. Bidders who attend and sign-in to the pre-bid conference will be added to the plan holders list. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
