Site work and renovation of a military facility in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 44,600-square-foot military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

The USPFO for Ohio intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, new and current material, transportation, , tools, equipment, appliances, supplies, services, permits, insurance and supervision necessary to renovate bldg 888 in accordance with specs and drawings dated December 19, 2017. Project includes: renovation of 52,300 SF of current hangar space including administrative and shop space areas. Modernize current administrative and shop space on the north-west side of the building. This shall include demolition of existing non-load bearing walls, restrooms, office space and shop space. Install new walls, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and communications to make a complete and usable space for the Medical Clinic Admin/Tng and EMEDS Admin/Tng areas. Reconfigure South-West side of building from an ASE maintenance shop to a Physical Fitness Center to include HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Communications, install drop ceiling and fire sprinkler lines into the space. Insulate exterior walls for energy savings. Reconfigure south-west administrative/shop space for both the Squadron Operations and the Small Air Terminal/Deployment Processing Ctr to include electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and communications. Tie all HVAC systems into base EMCS system. Air Conditioning: 120 Tons Brand Name/Sole Source will be for Advantor Security System, Monaco Fire System Controls and ProjectMates Software. Options to be included in the Solicitation: Option 1 will be for Communication Equipment - Provide communications cabling, fiber optic wiring, copper wiring, CAT6, racks, supports, etc, as specified. Refer to Sheet E-001, all sheets beginning with T and Division 27 specifications. Option 2 will be for Advantor equipment and install, The contractor shall hire Advantor at the contractors expense to complete all work beyond the base bid items involving CLIN 0003/ABI#2 for the electronic security system, base bid is for rough in only. Security and CCTV system to include all devices, interface/control modules, detectors, key pads, locks, control panel, and cable/conduit, etc, as specified. Refer to Sheet E-001, all sheets beginning with T and Division 27 specifications. The contract duration is 540 days after notice to proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
