Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbus, Ohio. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of June 7, 2023, an engineer firm has been selected and the project is in the design phase with a target completion date of Fall 2023. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, construction is expected to begin in early 2024. A detailed scope has not been released. The current scope of work is for the HVAC system replacement within the Statehouse building. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board (CSRAB) requires Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services for design and construction oversight of mechanical and HVAC system improvements at the Capitol Square Complex (CSC). For purposes of this RFQ, "CSC" will refer to the Statehouse, Senate building, and Atrium The selected A/E will be retained to complete the POR, design, and construction administration for mechanical system improvements. Upon award of the Agreement, the selected firm will commence by developing the POR. Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Alison Buzzard at alison.buzzard@ohiostatehouse.org with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
