All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Maplewood, Minnesota, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, conditioned that if the bidder is the successful bidder, they will enter into a contract in accordance with said bid and will furnish such performance bonds as are specified. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least 90 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, without the consent of the owner. The City of Maplewood reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City of Maplewood also reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities and deviations; however, any bid which contains a material variance from plans and specifications will be rejected.
