For construction of: The construction of sidewalks, retaining walls, bridge abutments, bridge superstructure, earthwork, site restoration, electical work, and installation of owner provided light fixtures for a pedestrian bridge along University Drive that will span over Interstate 44 in accordance with the bid documents and plans.An additional amount of $40.00 will be charged for mailing of bidding documents.All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 4%.
