Renovation of a stadium in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

The bids shall be lump sum and shall be received for a prime contract.Contractors working on public works projects involving the construction, reconstruction, alteration, or renovation of a public building must be prequalified through the Public Works Certification Board if project is estimated to be greater than $300,000.00. (IC 5-16-13-10 and 4-13.6-4) The bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid. The bid bond must be present and attached to the top of original bid.Bid envelope (minimum size 9" x 12") must be sealed and include company name and address, project name, bid reference number, and date and time of bid opening. Each bidder is required to include one (1) original and two (2) copies of their bid.A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 150 % of the contract price shall be required upon notification of the successful bidder prior to signing of the contract. MSKTD Project No. 7534 Contractors working on public works projects involving the construction, reconstruction, alteration, or renovation of a public building must be prequalified through the Public Works Certification Board if project is estimated to be greater than $300,000.00. (IC 5-16-13-10 and 4-13.6-4) Contractor is to include an allowance of $25,000.00 in bid. Allowance is to be used for changes in scope resulting from unforeseen conditions at the site. Allowance can only be used with written approval by the Architect and Owner. Any unused allowance must be returned to the Owner. Bids shall not be modified, withdrawn or canceled without the Owner's written consent for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date on which bids are opened. The successful bidder(s) must submit their Federal Identification Number to the Department of Public Purchase at contract signing. In the absence of a FIN, a Social Security Number must be provided. An out of state contractor shall have Indiana State Gross Income Tax withheld by Allen County, unless he can show proof that he is registered with the Indiana Secretary of State to conduct business in the State of Indiana. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Notice to Bidders and reserves the right to waive irregularities.
