Minimum qualifications: 1. The prime Contractor must have completed at least 3 projects of a similar size and complexity and be provide references for these projects. 2. The prime Contractor must have an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) less than 1.2 3. The prime Contractor or its principals must not be listed on the Federal System for Award Management portal exclusion list. 4. The prime Contractor shall not have any open MIOSHA violations within the last 3 years prior to bid opening. Term Contract: 425 Days The 14 Mile Transmission Main that currently serves West Bloomfield Township, Farmington Hills, Commerce Township, Novi, Walled Lake, andWixom is a single feed transmission system. Ifa disruption to service were to occur on this transmission main, many ofthe users along this main would experience a complete loss ofpressure and flow. This project would provide a transmission main loop to the 14 Mile system to increase redundancy on this branch of the system. Completion of the 14 Mile Road Transmission Loop will eliminate a single feed to over 250,000 people. This phase ofthe project referred to as Phase I involves construction of approximately 1 mile of a new parallel 24-inch transmission main along 14 Mile Rd. from M-5 to west ofDecker Rd. to reinforce the 14 Mile Transmission System. The construction work for the 14 Mile Transmission Loop Project will be executed in two phases/contracts; Phase I, as described above, involves construction of approximately 1 mile of 24-inch transmission main along 14 Mile Rd. and Phase II will be involving construction ofapproximately 6 miles of 54-inch transmission main, yard piping and reservoir fill line at the Haggerty Booster Station as well as a control valve to regulate flows along the transmission main. Execution of the Work shall be as shown on the Drawings and as specified in the technical specifications and Contract Documents. GLWA's targeted milestones and desired durations for the various phases ofthis project are shown in the table below, the vendor is fully responsible for preparing its project approach, work plan, schedule and cost schedule based on its experience in executing this type of project and shall not use GLWA's targeted milestones and desired durations to limit its responsibility under the contract, except where GLWA has specified the number of hours to be provided by the vendor or where GLWA has included a specified allowance.
