The City of Coldwater’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is seeking developers to renovate 60 West Chicago Street, a three-story building with over 19,000ft2 floor space just down the street from the historic Tibbits Opera House. In exchange for redeveloping the building, the DDA has lined up incentives which include a generous below-market sale price, a tax abatement plan, rebates for façade improvements, and assistance with applying to any state and federal grant programs offered to downtown development projects. As of April 27, 2021, this project has been awarded.
