Site work for a water / sewer project in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This is the first iteration of what is to become an annual sewer rehabilitation services contract. Utilities Kingston has inspected the majority of its wastewater collection system, and in alignment with its Asset Management Plan, undertakes reconstruction and/or rehabilitation as prioritized using a risk-based approach. Fundamentals of this project include the following: - The Project will focus on sanitary sewers, but rehabilitation of storm sewers and combined sewers may be included. - The Project will include pipe less than or equal to 600mm in diameter. - The Project includes all works necessary to prepare, rehabilitate, and reinstate sewers using cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) and cured-in-place-pipe spot repairs (CIPPSR). - In order to begin to gain an understanding of sewer lateral condition, the Project also includes CCTV sewer lateral inspection (from the main) for approximately 10% of connected service laterals in the Work Area.
