As of January 23, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design development phase. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all subconsultants the prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on May 6, 2020at 1:00 PM at the Region Five/District Eight offices in Collinsville. This project consists of the pavement rehabilitation and bridge repair of two sections of I-255. The first section is from IL 157 to IL 15 and the next section is from IL 3 in Dupo to IL 157. Phase II engineering services required for this project include the preparation of all Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E documents). Additional items include but are not limited to supplemental surveys, public involvement, maintenance of traffic plans, sign truss repairs, noise wall repairs, concrete median replacement, bridge approach re-profiling, guardrail upgrades, drainage upgrades, storm water pollution prevention plan, erosion control plans, roadway lighting plans, and all other necessary related work to complete Phase II. Items to be provided from the Phase I engineering services include a Project Report, land surveys, traffic management analysis, utility coordination and correspondence, Abbreviated Bridge Condition Reports, and all other work associated with the approved Project Report The estimated construction cost for this project is $74,000,000. The completion date for this contract will be 84 months after authorization to proceed.
